News!

I would like to take a moment to say sorry.
Sorry for not posting.
You know how bad Janae and I have been about posting, but with all of our extra-curricular activities and starting our first year of middle school (with loads of homework!) life can get pretty busy.
So, we're so so sooooooooooooooo sorry!
But we know that sorry isn't what you want to hear. You want the stories--the news--and we will give you all that in this post, with more to come.
Here we go...

August 22, 2011 was a big day in our family. It was, of course, our first day of the next three years of our life. We started middle school, despite being pretty scared to death of it (at least that's how I felt!). Everything went well, and all of my doubts about middle school were washed away on that day. We are really happy with the way things are turning out, even with some of the little problems we face. Overall, the year has been off to a great start!

In October we had our 12th b-day! Again, all went well with this and all of our family parties and gifts and such. One of the biggest gifts we got was our new bedding for our new rooms! Yes, that's rooms plural. It's a bittersweet piece of news, but Janae and I are moving...well, in a way. I'm going into the room which used to be our playroom, and will start my new room there. Janae will stay in our old room, and start her new room, too! Now, we didn't move because we were fighting, or because we were having trouble sleeping, or any of that stuff. We love each other, and we'll miss each other when we move. But we both really wanted to bring in our own styles to our rooms, so we decided that now was the time to move. Of course, we'll have sleepovers in each others rooms and OF COURSE we'll still stay close. We'll just be right next door to each other, with our new rooms. We're actually really excited! So you will be seeing more of our new rooms in coming Blog posts. That might be a while though....

Now, here in November, past all of the news, I am glad to say that we have survived the first three months of middle school and are living life just fine. We are very happy for how all things have turned out. We hope that your live is going well too, though! Our lives are filled with happy moments and tough moments each day, but we just have to keep moving on, right? Life is to be celebrated, and we love doing that on our blog!

Again, we're really sorry about not posting lately. And don't worry, there will be many more blog posts to come. We have been blessed with the life we have been given, and with our blog viewers! We hope all is well, and we love you all.
